Welcome to SHI Memory OS. We value your privacy and data security and are committed to protecting your information with transparency and care. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect your data, and what rights you have. By continuing to use this system, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this policy.
1. Overview
SHI Memory OS is an AI memory and task automation system. Its core features include storing user Memory, building Entity / Tag knowledge graphs, creating and managing Tasks, and providing AI-assisted analysis and intelligent query responses.
2. Data Ownership
You own all input data submitted to the system, including memory text, entity information, task descriptions, and tags. The platform acts only as a storage and processing tool and does not claim ownership of your data. Each API Key is bound to a unique user_id, and user data is logically isolated.
3. Data We Collect
We may collect user-provided data such as Memory, Entity, Task, and Tag records; system-generated data such as AI Value Score, Policy settings, and lifecycle states; and aggregated usage metrics such as API request volume and task completion statistics.
4. AI Processing Rules
The AI engine processes data only under your authorized API Key. It may use your memory context to improve responses, adjust behavior through Policy, and generate Entity, Tag, or Task records where enabled. AI must not access other users’ data, modify system default Policy, or delete user data without explicit instruction.
5. API Key Security
API Keys are shown in full only once at creation. The database stores only irreversible hashed values. All public API requests must include a valid key; invalid requests return 401 Unauthorized.
6. Data Lifecycle
The system uses Active, Warm, Cold, and Archive lifecycle layers to balance performance and cost. You may retain all data, manually delete specific data, or enable automatic archiving policies.
7. AI Value Score
The system automatically calculates AI Value Score for each Entity to rank important entities, improve retrieval quality, and optimize AI response relevance. This score is generated automatically and may change over time.
8. Third-Party Processing
The system may call LLM services, embedding APIs, and configured webhooks. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or resale. Third-party calls follow data minimization principles.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not attack, scrape, abuse, or disrupt the system; access, modify, or delete other users’ data; or forge or misuse API Keys.
10. Data Retention
Active data is retained until deleted by you. Cold data may receive lower priority but keeps original content. Archived data is stored long term and excluded from real-time reasoning. Deleted data is removed from production within a reasonable period.
11. Security Measures
Passwords are stored with bcrypt, sessions use HttpOnly cookies, API Keys are irreversibly hashed, queries enforce user_id isolation, and production deployments should use HTTPS.
12. Your Rights
You may view, export, delete, and manage your Memory, Entity, Task, and Tag data, manage API Keys, and configure Policy preferences.
13. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated due to legal or product changes. Updated versions will be published at https://shi.my.
